Syed Saddiq was charged with four counts of criminal breach of trust and money laundering before the sessions court last year.
An accused is normally barred from meeting prosecution witnesses in criminal court cases to prevent the risk of witness tampering.

From the amount, RM120,000 was said to be party funds for the 2018 general election, while RM1 million was allegedly withdrawn by him without the top leadership’s consent.

“I have no (ulterior) motive (to testify) against him (Syed Saddiq). What I said in court is the truth,” he added.

The remaining RM100,000 was used for a Bersatu Youth programme, Rafiq added.
The hearing continues before judicial commissioner Azhar Abdul Hamid tomorrow.
