
Who that candidate might be remains a mystery for now. There is likely no shortage of options given the magnitude of the club, even if Liverpool does not hold the financial might of other big clubs, making the potential job a lot harder, and there is uncertainly over the owner 足球直播 ship of the club at the current moment.
While some have written him off completely due to his very recent previous affiliation with Manchester United, and of course his unsuccessful tenure there as manager, Squires makes interesting points about Rangnick. Firstly, he has never been a manager and therefore shouldn’t really been judged on his time at Old Trafford, and second, that he has a very strong relationship with his protégé, Klopp, who also holds the Austrian in high regard.
In this sense, Liverpool is not the most lucrative proposal for anyone looking to find a new job. But there are people who are surely open to the challenge and would relish working for such a big club alongside a manager of Klopp’s ilk.

He has lots of experience building teams and continuously rebuilding them from his time at Red Bull, not to mention since Liverpool already has a strong relati 英超直播 onship with Red Bull since the Michael Edwards era and Rangnick would only fortify that even more to open up the possibility of the Reds landing some exciting talent from the Red Bull clubs like Joško Gvardiol or Dominik Szoboszlai.
With just months now until the end of the season and Julian Ward’s tenure at Liverpool as the club’s sporting director, there has still yet to have been an announcement about his potential successor. Sooner or later though, FSG will have to find the right candidate who can help Jürgen Klopp build the next golden generation at Anfield.
All in all, it’s a move that might make a lot of sense. Rangnick has never been a man for the touchline; he’s always thrived in the boardroom and Liverpool could offer him a chance to return back to that. But first, FSG would have to convince Rangnick to give up his role as the head coach of the Austrian national team. How willing he might be to do that is unknown, but Rangnick is a move that should be explored.

Not to mention, Rangnick is not just an intelligent mind when it comes to his gegenpressing style of play but also for talent identification to spot players who are capable of playing in that system. At Red Bull, Rangnick reaped plenty of successes at the helm of the organization spotting dozens of exciting talent, who have gone on to bigger and better things.
Klopp and Rangnick regularly communicated before his arrival in England, and the bond between could make for a harmonious working relationship.
